Synaptec offers a link between LawBase and Microsoft Outlook. This allows emails to be easily generated from within LawBase or you can quickly link an email to a file in LawBase creating a quick note entry. Additionally, Synaptec offers an optional bi-directional interface between LawBase and the Outlook calendar. In this way, items posted to your LawBase calendar will automatically flow to your Outlook calendar. This information can be updated in either application and automatically update the other’s calendar. Additionally, this will work with your handheld devices as well.

Synaptec offers a link between LawBase and Groupwise. This allows emails to be easily generated from within LawBase. Additionally, Synaptec offers an optional interface so that information from LawBase can be exported to your Groupwise Calendar.

Synaptec has created an interface between LawBase and Interwoven’s iManage document management application. While in LawBase, an icon for Interwoven document management will appear on the matter toolbar. While in a matter, a user can quickly see all the documents associated with that matter.

Synaptec offers a link between LawBase and Hummingbird Document Management software. Users can see all the documents related to that matter by clicking on the Hummingbird icon.

Synaptec has created an interface between LawBase and Worldox document management software. While in LawBase, a Worldox icon will appear on the matter toolbar. A user by clicking on this icon will see all the documents stored in Worldox associated with that matter.

Several of our corporate legal department clients use Tower Software’s Trim Context for document management and we have created an interface between the applications so that uses can quickly see all the documents associated with a LawBase matter.

LawBase provides an interface to Summation’s litigation support software. This allows users to quickly access all the information that is normally stored in Summation such as Exhibits, Deposition transcripts, and Witness statements. As a result, users have the full functionality of Summation and the ability to quickly access that information from within a LawBase matter.

Synaptec offers an interface between Concordance Litigation Support software and LawBase that allows users to quickly locate information stored in that application.

Since in most firms, a matter doesn’t exist until it has been entered into Elite, LawBase can take that information and automatically create a matching matter in LawBase. Additionally, you can use the notes area of LawBase to create entries that can be exported to Elite as a time entry. Finally, you can have information from Elite update fields in LawBase so that your users don’t have to contact the Accounting Department to find out financial information about a matter.

Synaptec offers a link between LawBase and Omega accounting software. LawBase offers all the functionality discussed above with the Elite interface and additionally allows for information from Omega’s conflicts module to be searched at the same time as LawBase in a single search.

Synaptec offers an interface between LawBase and Juris Time and Billing software. Since in most firms, a matter doesn’t exist until it has been entered into Juris, LawBase can take that information and automatically create a matching matter in LawBase. Additionally, you can use the notes area of LawBase to create entries that can be exported to Juris as a time entry. Finally, you can have information from Juris update fields in LawBase so that your users don’t have to contact the Accounting Department to find out financial information about a matter.

One of the newer interfaces is between LawBase and Provantage Time and Billing software. Users of Provantage can enter information into Provantage and have that information appear in LawBase automatically. This can be done either when a new matter is opened in Provantage or when you update information in Provantage. Finally, you can enter a note in LawBase and have that information be saved to Provantage as a time entry.

Users of Tabs III can easily share information between it and LawBase.
