LawBase includes the Hot DocsŪ document assembly software with every purchase of LawBase. Long recognized as the leading document assembly software for the legal profession, Synaptec is excited to have created the most advanced interface between these programs.
When the user clicks on the icon, they will get a list of templates created in Hot Docs. You will be trained in how to create these templates so you will have total control over the look of the documents generated by your staff.
We realize that its important to merge information from LawBase without having to retype the information again into a document, but while that is where our competitors stop, we know that your work isn't finished at this point. That is why we created the first bi-directional interface with Hot Docs allowing Hot Docs to send information back to LawBase. For example, a Hot Docs template can enter information into LawBase notes section that the document was created, create a reminder for follow up, update information in other fields in the file or many other functions.
This will free up staff time by making it easier and faster for them to create documents and avoids problems of not entering information as can happen often in the hectic nature of the legal office.
